A Life in Parts by Bryan Cranston

After reading a number of boring academic articles, I was given a pleasant reprieve with Bryan Cranston’s “Life in Parts” which I found to be refreshing, interesting, and downright funny — I found myself laughing out loud a number of times and you will to when you learn about Bryan’s experiences on the farm and at the beginning of his first marathon. As I read Bryan’s story, I too was reminded of the many parts I’ve played in my own life including son, accountant, father, teacher.

As one of my favourite actors in one of my favourite television series, I appreciate learning about the person behind the celebrity and his human journey to become what he always wanted to be.

You can’t go wrong with this book and, while reading it, I guarantee you will reflect on the roles you’ve played in your life.
